We thank you for your interest in the SALMON Centers for Early Education at Natick and Northbridge in the Boston, MA area. SALMON Centers for Early Education is part of SALMON Health and Retirement that has been family owned and operated for nearly six decades. We know your love and concern for your child extends from ensuring their safety to providing them a supportive, stimulating environment in which to grow. We know because that’s what we want for our own children, and that’s why these child care centers came into being.

SALMON Centers for Early Education offer infant, toddler, and preschool child care programs from infants aged 6 weeks to children aged 5 to 6 years. Early Childhood Educators and Child Care Assistants provide a well-rounded, developmentally appropriate curriculum that stimulates the children’s intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. Infants are cared for on a schedule that meets their individual needs, based on their own personal routine, while toddlers are given a structured routine that still retains flexibility for plenty of free time and imaginative play.

At SALMON Centers for Early Education, our child care teachers are well-trained and experienced, and you will come to know your child’s teachers well—communication with parents is an important concern of our child care team. Your child will be offered a variety of meaningful learning experiences throughout the day, with activities geared toward different ages, abilities and learning styles. Children have the opportunity to play and learn in both groups and on their own; there is a rest period every day, and time to play outdoors as well.

SALMON Centers for Early Education offer children activities beyond those expected with their Intergenerational Program, which makes a positive link between young and old. The residents of Whitney Place Assisted Living Residences and Whitney Place Adult Day Health Center look forward, as do the children, to the time they spend together. Children can engage in social visits, taking a stroll together, listen and sing along with music, and enjoy weekly barbecues during the summer months or at our Thanksgiving luncheon.

At SALMON Centers for Early Education, we work hard to provide a healthy, loving environment in which each and every child receives the appropriate nurturing, guidance, and stimulation to reach his or her fullest potential. We see ourselves as an extension of your family, providing quality child care for your children while you are working, or to provide them with additional educational and social time.
