Buttonbabies Lactation Counseling & Postpartum Doula Support offers individual support and classes in a group setting or in the privacy of a mother’s own home. Lactation consultant services include the teaching of various breastfeeding techniques, positioning, and feeding cues.
Hospital of Central Connecticut
The Family Birth Place provides board-certified Lactation Consultants who offer special training and tips to all mothers. The Breastfeeding Center and Mothers Milk Group are facilitated by our certified lactation consultants and help with topics including technique, milk supply, pumping, returning to work as well as support from other breastfeeding mothers.

The goal at Lactation Services of Southington is to provide every new mother and baby the necessary support to have a successful breastfeeding experience. Norwalk Hospital

They offer prenatal breastfeeding classes, in-hospital education and bedside breast feeding support, outpatient consultation and weekly support groups to discuss feeding, breast anatomy, milk production, management of breast-feeding complications, and stages of infant development.

The Health Emporium at Norwalk Hospital is an authorized hospital-based Medela® Rental Station and retailer for breast pumps, and maternity/nursing bras. They offer a large supply of Medela® products with special ordering available and also have certified bra fitters on site.
St. Vincent’s Medical Center
St. Vincent's offers a variety of services to the breastfeeding mother. Beginning with prenatal breastfeeding classes and continuing on to breastfeeding support groups and a breast pump rental station. They have 2 board certified lactation consultants on staff available to help nursing moms.
