Rite of Passage Women's Health & Birth Center, located in Pearland, TX, is a private nurse-midwifery service. Owner, operator and Certified Nurse Midwife, Bernadette Olivier, has dedicated the last 16 years of her life to the profession of caring for women and babies.  She believes in empowering women by educating and involving women in all aspects of their care and believes in professional, one-on-one attention to every woman whether for an annual exam or your pregnancy.

The goal of Rite of Passage’s birthing and women's health center is to provide an environment that is safe and satisfying for any client. The family-centered birth facility includes warm and cozy rooms with Queen-sized beds, a Jacuzzi for relaxation during labor and waterbirths, and waiting rooms for the family as they look forward to baby's arrival!

Rite of Passage's Services Include:

• Annual Wellness Exams
• Pregnancy Testing
• Family Planning and Conception Counseling
• Gynecological and Breast Screening Exams
• Pap Testing
• Preconception Counseling
• Referral to Counseling Services
• Full Prenatal Care including Delivery (nutrition counseling, childbirth education, and infant care classes)
• Continuous Labor Support (provided during labor and delivery at the center including transfer to hospital for Moms only)
• Waterbirth
• Newborn and Postpartum Care
• Home Visits/Office Visits (within 48-72 hours of delivery and 2nd and 6th weeks after birth)
• Physician Consultation and referral provided by Ob-Gyn
• Breast Feeding Support
• Bio-identical Hormones

Minimum class size must be met to hold class, please call early to register! Minimum class size is 2 couples for evening classes and 3 couples for the Childbirth class.
