Good
Night: After the story's over, don't forget to say good night. Lullaby
babies make dream candid photos. Everyone takes baby pictures over the
top of the crib. Try getting down to the child's level and shooting
through the crib's bars. In this photo, the crib's golden wood came
out looking beautiful. To take the picture through the bars of a crib:
The closer you get, the more out of focus the bars will appear in the print. This is good. It makes them less intrusive.
If there is enough light in the room, turn off the automatic flash. The burst may be an unintentional alarm clock.
If you need some light but think the full flash may be too much, try covering part of the flash with your finger, or flicker your finger in front of the flash while you're taking the shot. This trick will reduce some of the harsh effect.
