At Pediatric Specialties, patients will enjoy a loving and friendly staff and board certified pediatricians who have the knowledge and experience to care for your child from infancy through adolescence. They also offer complimentary prenatal visits where you can visit our facility and get to know the team. The practice was founded in 1977 with an emphasis in pediatric subspecialty care. While the focus has shifted towards primary care, the practice still maintains its subspecialty roots.

For your convenience, we have two offices one in Hackensack and one in Ramsey. Our doctors are available 24 hours a day and our office is open 365 days a year. We have available evening hours, same day sick visits and medical advice easily obtained throughout the day. Pediatric Specialties’ team is dedicated to the health of your newborn and will build a bond with you and your child that will last through early adulthood.

In addition to the doctors, Pediatric Specialties has two Advanced Practical Nurses.  Maureen Cook sees patients along with the physicians for well child examinations as well as illness visits.  Denise Callanan primarily sees first time parents with their newborn babies within a couple of weeks after birth.  She is able to provide a comprehensive visit that provides education on all aspects of newborn care including breast-feeding.  She is also available for additional visits throughout the first year of life if additional concerns come up with regard to feeding or development.
