Quitting Smoking and Pregnancy Research Study

  • Did you quit smoking before or during this pregnancy?

  • Do you know that smoking after you give birth increases your baby’s risk of SIDS and other complications?

  • We would like to talk to you about participating in research to evaluate a program to help you stay smoke-free postpartum.

  • This research study conducted by the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center involves counseling about smoking, questionnaires, and interviews that will take place at convenient community locations.

  • You will receive up to $125 for completing all of the study requirements over a period of about 14 months and you may receive additional gift cards for your participation.
