The company was founded by Alison Rhodes, The Safety Mom (www.safetymom.com), a national child safety expert, speaker and TV personality. She founded the company after the loss of her son Connor to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). While SIDS is unpreventable and unpredictable, childhood accidents are the leading cause of death. She felt that if she could prevent one tragedy, she would have done something in honor of the life of her son. Since then she has become nationally known for her ability to deliver safety information and advice to all parents in a warm and engaging manner.
