Seedlings Photography specializes in on-location, natural light photography for Pittsburgh area families. Owner, Jennifer Swartzwelder’s goal is to capture simple, yet artful images of her clients’ growing families.
Your home or backyard can serve as an excellent backdrop and available, natural light is generally all that is needed. With baby and toddler photography sessions, little direction is given, as she seeks to capture moments that develop naturally, without being forced or contrived. Newborn and maternity sessions will involve a bit more interaction, with the goal of fine art images that capture those brief but special times in your changing lives.
Full length photography sessions are not strictly limited in time, but will average 1 to 2 hours (2-3 hours for newborns). You'll have time for nursing, snacking, cuddling, and diaper changes. In order to make the most of any newborn session, please schedule them within the first two weeks of life. Seedlings Photography is now currently booking 2-3 months in advance.
