The Ultrasound Zone, LLC is Glen Carbon, Illinois newest and most advanced elective 3D/4D imaging center. We are committed to keeping this innovative technology available and affordable while offering personalized services in a comfortable family environment. Our trained and certified sonographer combined with our experience and medical professionalism is the reason healthcare providers and expectant parents have come to know and trust us.
We provide elective reassurance scans for those expectant mothers who are currently receiving prenatal care and have undergone their second trimester diagnostic ultrasound. These 3D/4D ultrasound images allow the expectant family to view the baby in a way they can understand. This ultrasound session will provide you with an unbelievable bonding experience. As always, gender determination is by request only.
Our accommodations allow us to offer expectant parents the option of private scanning, while invited guests enjoy luxury seating in our viewing zone; or open viewing for all to enjoy together. We have seating for up to six guests with a 42” plasma TV that allows family and friends to visualize the entire session at all times.
For those with friends and family unable to attend the scheduled ultrasound viewing, consider our “BabyVuCast” option. This exciting new technology allows the elective 3D/4D ultrasound experience to be shared with family and friends through internet connection anywhere in the world. This option is offered free to our Military and their families.
Since elective scans are not covered by insurance, we have numerous sessions available to fit nearly all budgets. Our ultrasound packages offer many different options and start for as little as $60. Choose to take home photo CDs, a DVD of your session, a Baby Heart Bear, or one of our other keepsakes! Baby Heart Bear comes with the unborn baby’s actual heartbeat recorded so you can listen to your baby any time you want, almost like having a conversation with him or her.
Located in Illinois, The Ultrasound Zone is convenient to the St Louis population. Just take Interstate 270 from the St Louis area to exit 12 and we are only 1 mile from the highway. Just 25 minutes from downtown.
