UH MacDonald Women’s physicians, midwives and staff provide full service prenatal care including personalized genetic counseling, nutrition counseling, obstetrical ultrasound (including 4-D), and skilled prenatal diagnostic techniques. Our facility features private labor & delivery and postpartum suites. Delivering at UH MacDonald Woman’s Hospital ensures access to the pediatric experts at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, ranked No. 2 in the nation for neonatal care, and to some of the nation's best neonatologists, pediatric sub-specialists and surgeons.
Our physicians have offices conveniently located throughout the Cleveland and Northeast Ohio areas. An affiliation with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine ensures that UH MacDonald patients have access to clinical trials designed to advance women’s health.
Our maternity program includes an extensive offering of childbirth education courses for the whole family – Mom, Dad, siblings and grandparents. In addition, our UH MacDonald Lactation Consultants provide individualized support for breastfeeding mothers. Supplementing the community education curriculum are complementary services such as acupuncture, prenatal medical massage and reflexology.
