Maternity and Newborn Photography in Jacksonville

Shannon Whitaker Photography offers unique in studio and on location maternity, newborn, children and family photography to Jacksonville and Northeast Florida families. Sessions can place in their beautiful studio or on location, either in your home, a park, and the beach or at alternate location of your choice

Their small, boutique studio based out of North Central Florida and they strive to care for you and your portraits, one on one, from beginning to end.

Maternity

For pregnancy sessions, we suggest between 32 and 36 weeks. It really depends on how much you’re showing and when you feel the most comfortable. And yes we do have mommies that wait until the very end.

Newborn

When scheduling a newborn session, we ask that you get in touch with us prior to your delivery so we can have an idea when your little one is going to make their arrival. The ideal time to photograph your newborn is within the first ten days after delivery while they’re still squishy and new. If your baby is beyond this time frame or they are preemie don’t hesitate to call us and discuss some options.

Baby’s First Year

A baby’s first year of life is something that all parents want to capture. We place importance on certain milestones at our studio: baby giggling and sitting up, baby full of personality and on the move and the momentous occasion when they are up and walking. Baby plan options are available.

Family

Family sessions can take place almost year round in Florida. Just keep in mind there are busy seasons especially around holidays. So contacting us in advance is always the best idea.
